SID-IIs SBL D Final Rule

NHTSA has released the final rule of the SIDII’s as per June 23, 2009. Several (petitioned) changes were made to the dummy and test procedures. The changes that are having the biggest impact on the dummy and the certification procedures are listed below. This information can be found in the 49 CFR Part 572 [Docket No. NHTSA-2009-0003].
